This Indian Author Is Encouraging Children to Learn About India Through Quizzes.

Children are naturally curious. They ask about places, people, festivals, sports, and the stories behind the world around them. Dr. Ravi Bhatia believes that this curiosity can become a lasting habit of learning when children are encouraged to ask more questions. As a pediatrician and author, he has made this simple idea the foundation of his work.

An alumnus of the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Dr. Bhatia practices as a pediatrician in Udaipur. Alongside his medical career, he has always enjoyed quizzing. Over the years, he has seen that children often remember facts more easily when they answer questions instead of reading long lessons. This belief inspired him to write quiz books that help young readers learn more about India in an enjoyable way.

Encouraging Children to Learn More About Their Country

Dr. Bhatia believes that children should grow up with a good understanding of their own country. Learning about India’s history, geography, culture, science, sports, and well-known personalities helps them build awareness from an early age. He feels this knowledge also helps children take part in school activities, quizzes, and everyday conversations with greater confidence.

Instead of presenting information in long chapters, he chose a simple question-and-answer format. Every question encourages children to think, remember, and learn something new. The format keeps young readers interested and turns learning into an enjoyable activity for families, teachers, and students alike.

How Let’s Quiz Kid Volume 3 Brings Learning to Life

This idea comes alive in Let’s Quiz Kid Volume 3, the latest book in Dr. Bhatia’s quiz series. The book contains 500 questions based on India, giving children a chance to learn about many different parts of the country through short and engaging quizzes.

The questions cover subjects such as Indian history, geography, science, sports, culture, and famous personalities. Each page gives readers another chance to test their knowledge while picking up new facts along the way.

The book can be read at home, used during family quiz sessions, or brought into classrooms and school competitions. It follows Let’s Quiz Kid Volume 1, Let’s Quiz Kid Volume 2, and IQ: The India Quotient in You, all written with the same aim of helping children build a stronger understanding of India through quizzes.

Bringing the Joy of Quizzing Into Schools

Writing books is only one part of Dr. Bhatia’s work. He also conducts quiz programs for school children, giving students an opportunity to answer questions in a lively and friendly setting. These sessions encourage children to think quickly, work together, and build confidence while learning new facts about India.

For Dr. Bhatia, quizzes are more than competitions. They help children stay curious, enjoy learning, and develop an interest in reading beyond their school textbooks. His goal is to help children see learning as something they can enjoy every day.

New Subjects, Same Love for Learning

Writing each quiz book takes Dr. Bhatia about a year. He spends that time selecting meaningful questions, checking facts, and making sure the content is suitable for young readers. Alongside his work as a pediatrician, he continues to write books that encourage children to learn more about India through simple and engaging quizzes.

He is currently working on a quiz book about Indian cricket, along with a non-fiction book based on life in a medical college. While the subjects are different, both projects reflect his interest in sharing knowledge in a way that keeps readers interested.

Through his books and school quiz programs, Dr. Ravi Bhatia hopes to encourage more children to ask questions, learn about India, and build a habit of reading that stays with them for years. For him, every question is another chance for a child to know the country a little better.
